SO Much about Sweden!

Yeah, Sweden. You left nice memories ( and took a lot of money!!!). But unfortunately it was time to go back home. Anyway, it's true and I admit it: I've been lazy than I ever was about writing my blog. Justice will be brought to the court. What can I say, I'm ashamed. Lord, forgive me.. I have sinned.

However! I'm pleased to invite you to check my photo album of this beatiful country Sweden.

The Mid-Sweden University

So, I have to keep blogging on this blog space, so it don't get so rusty again. So what should I write about? Oh yeah, the main reason about being here of course! And that is the magnificent, comprehensive,unrevealing Mid-Sweden University!!! Ok so, let's have a short overview and look at the boring facts:

It was formed July 1, 1993 as the result of a merger between the University College of Sundsvall/Härnösand and the University College of Östersund. The two university colleges had been founded in the early 1970s, along with a number of similar ones in different regions of Sweden. July 1, 1995, the Sundsvall/Örnsköldsvik and Sundsvall Colleges of Health Sciences were also incorporated. Effective from January 1, 2005, the government of Sweden granted the institution the right to call itself a university.

The university’s four main campuses have different educational characteristics and partly different ranges educational courses that are offered. The Sundsvall campus has a wide range of courses and degrees in the technical field and in natural sciences. The Östersund campus is tilted against its graduate degrees in tourism, health care and in social work and public administration. The Örnsköldsvik campus offers health care education and is focused on technical research. And I'm where? I thionk in one of them. I'm not so sure.

What does "Punkrocker Yes I am" gotta to do with me being in Sweden. Well, mybe nothing or everything. But since I walked into a some Student Klub, they've been playing this punkrocker song from Teddybears Stockholm featurign old bad ass Iggy Pop. So, since I'm living in Sweden It's my favorite obligation to discover interesting swedish artists. One of them are Teddyberars Stockholm featuring the video: "punkrocker".

Dayz and Nightz

So, taking the stroll at extremely low temparatures during the night it's not so enjoyable at all. And specially when you walk up to the mountain to get your footage done several times a week. But that fabulouse imminent result was done. Looking for appropiate time and wheater to shot respectievely nice and sharp photos got its price. Ladies and Gentelman: Sundsvall during the daylight and during the night!

EMA 07..... amm NO!

Yeah, It happened this morning when I heard the Sloveninan EMA 07 (I´m not gonna write about swedish ema 07 , though. but I should.. mybe in next post.) song on internet boradcasting radio. SO, first few words which accros my mind were:" Torching,...yeah..torching, that´s good idea".

I mean: COME ON?!? Is that how we gonna distinguished from other competitors? With brutal, tragedy-opera, My-ears-are-bleeding, depressingly-bizzare song? Well, what EXACTLY was going on judges´s and commision´s mind when watching the Oh-my-god-whatta-crap performance and giving her an absoulte go! Are their brains melted? Ok this is hard...amm...sorry but I can´t find any appropiate words to try even to describe our tiny little chances to hopefully any points for this crap winner.

Sundsvall

Hello and Wellcome to Sundsvall

This north Swedish tiny town is suppose to be "by-the-sea" city, but being all coverd with half or mybe more than a meter of snow looks completely unlikely tourist atracitve seaside town. Sundsvall is one of the 3 campus of Mid-Sweden university in the northern land. Small peacefull atmosphere gives you safety feeling and comfortable living mood. So, I moved into this one-man accomodation for next 3 months. Consider this As a one 11m2 room with bed, TV, sink and thanks god! - a internet cable. And ofcourse all furniture equipped by who knows - Ikea! So, this is gonna be my hole till I move hopefully to a better and bigger apartment. And yeah, I'm in the middle of winter, which pretty much sucks too! Next weird thing is, that you're surrounded with all sweden speaking people. And trying to learn swedish language? After first few takes you just simply give up, couse they speak so fast. Why tha hell must every native speaker in the world speak his native language so fast! So that anybody can't understand you, to preserve your cool sounded speaking flow? Anywayz, It's a 10:58 PM and I'm on my way to lie and watch a movie and go to sleep. And for you all, a nice greetings from darkly depresing fishy town Sundsvall.
